We are thrilled to announce our annual auditions for our 2024/2025 season! We are looking for girls ages 5-15 who love to sing and dance and who have a passion for performing!

Audition information is as follows:

 

When: May 18th 2024

 

Times: The Audition will be split into 3 groups. The groups and times are as follows.  Please plan accordingly. This is based on what grade you will be going into next year. 

 

K-4th grade: 9am-12pm - PINK

5th-7th grade: 12pm-3pm - BLUE

8th-10th grade: 3-5pm - YELLOW

k-10th grade DANCE ONLY: 5pm-6pm - GREEN

** We will try to maintain this schedule; however, we cannot predict how many girls will attend auditions, which has a direct effect on the flow of the day.

ADDITIONAL AUDITION INFORMATION

Attire: Workout Gear, Leotard, Shorts, Tennis or Jazz Shoes
Audition Fee: $25 Cash or Check made payable to Entertainment Revue

 

-There will be an alumni panel of judges. 

-There will be a dance call as well as a vocal audition.

Vocal Audition: All candidates should prepare a 90 second vocal piece for their audition. You may bring an mp3 on a Bluetooth friendly device to be shared with our staff. Or please send your mp3 via email to erfiwings@gmail.com. You may also choose to sing acapella.

 

*Suggestion: Choose a song that you love to sing and best fits your voice*

 

Dance Call: All candidates will be taught a fun short choreographed piece that will be performed in small groups in front of our alumni panel of judges.

 

*Judges will evaluate each candidate on the following criteria: Vocal Quality, Vocal Range/Pitch, Movement, and Showmanship.

 

Audition Activities: Candidates will be involved in several different activities, which will include dancing and singing. Candidates will be grouped with other girls by age and will participate in group-related activities. 

 

Notes:
*Parents should drop off their child Saturday morning. Auditions are closed to parents and observers. Parents should return to pick up their child at the designated pick up time. 

*Our auditions are designed to make the girls feel comfortable and have fun. In the past, auditioning girls and their parents commented on how enjoyable the whole experience was. So relax and look forward to an exciting day!
 

*NOTIFICATION – We will mail audition acceptances no later than 2 weeks from the audition date. If cast, there will be a meet and greet with your new cast mates before our regular rehearsal season starts.

GENERAL GROUP INFORMATION

ER I - This cast is considered our professional cast. All decisions will be made by the Creative Director, Tina Novak Robles. Cast members must have participated in the Entertainment Revue organization for at least one year in order to be eligible. We expect to perform in 15-20 shows per year and cast members are required to sign a commitment contract. ER I will rehearse approximately ten hours monthly and most rehearsals will be held on weekends. Sometimes rehearsals will be “extended rehearsals,” which will last for 3-4 hours. This schedule is subject to change as shows are booked. Cast members are required to make the group their #1 priority.

ER II - Cast members are selected by special invitation. Cast members will generally have participated in the Entertainment Revue organization for at least one year. ER II will rehearse approximately nine hours monthly and most rehearsals will be held on weekends. Sometimes rehearsals will be “extended rehearsals,” which will last for 3-4 hours. Occasionally, a weeknight rehearsal will be required. This is considered a semi-professional cast and members must be prepared to handle the rigors of a professional rehearsal environment. Members are required to sign a commitment contract. This schedule is subject to change as shows are booked and cast members are required to make the group their #1 priority.

RAVE REVUE - This cast is an apprentice cast and is open to both new cast members and returning cast members. Rave Revue is a wonderful cast for those hoping to gain on-stage experience, but who are not ready for the demands or commitment level of ER I or ER II. Rehearsal is held 4 times a month for 2 hours – some months may have 5 rehearsals when the calendar permits. Regular rehearsals will be held on Monday evenings from 5:15-7:30pm. This schedule is subject to change as shows are booked and an occasional week night or weekend rehearsal may be required.
